It is a great choice for craft blanks because it is sturdy, easy to decorate, and works well for layered wood projects. Because these blanks are cut with a laser, the edges will naturally have a honey to dark brown color. You may also notice light scorch marks on the front or sides of some pieces. This is a normal part of the laser-cutting process and will be covered easily with paint, stain, or finish. These marks do not affect the quality or usability of the blank. There may also be marks on the back side of each piece. This is called flashback and happens when the laser beam reflects off the laser bed during cutting. Flashback is normal with laser-cut blanks and will not affect how the piece looks once it is painted, stained, or attached to your project. Each piece may vary slightly in color, surface tone, and wood grain. These natural variations are part of working with wood-based materials and do not affect the quality of the blank. Some pieces have narrow areas or smaller details, so please handle them with care when removing, painting, or assembling. Recommended Use Paint, stain, or decorate your glasses blanks as desired. Once dry, attach them to your project using wood glue or another adhesive suitable for wood craft projects. Thank you for choosing ShapeHouse Studios. We hope these glasses blanks make your next DIY project even more fun, creative, and full of personality.
